Construction Company has staff members who are
experienced in all construction management, design/build
and engineering disciplines. The staff members of our
company are identified below along with their
experience.
Mr. John C. Gibson, Sr.,
Chairman of the Board, and Past President of the company,
is a lifelong resident of Ohio, and a graduate of Youngstown College in 1952. Prior to incorporating the Jack Gibson Construction Company, Mr. Gibson was President and Chief Executive Officer of the W. B. Gibson Company for which he worked from 1944 - 1982. He has served as President of the Mahoning/Shenango Valley Chapter of the AGC and the AGC of Ohio. He is a past member of the National AGC Project Delivery Committee, which is responsible for drafting and issuing documents used in project delivery systems such as construction management projects, design-build projects, lump-sum projects and project management. Mr. Gibson is a past President of the Builders Association of Eastern Ohio and Western Pennsylvania.
Mr. E. James Breese,
President,
joined the company in 1988 and became President in 2003. Mr. Breese joined the firm as Controller and was promoted to the capacity of Vice President of Operations in 2001. He is a graduate of Slippery Rock University, Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. He is the current Treasurer and a past President of the Trumbull Division of the Builders Association of Eastern Ohio and Western Pennsylvania and is a Board Member of the Associated General Contractors of Ohio.
Mr. John C. Gibson, Jr.,
Chief Executive Officer,
began his construction career in 1967, with the W. B. Gibson Company. He worked in the field for 11 years as a Laborer, a Foreman and a Job Superintendent. He then worked in the company office as an Estimator and Project Manager. In 1982 he became the Executive Vice President of the Jack Gibson Construction Company. Now as Chief Executive Officer, he is involved with all company operations. John attended Ohio Northern and Youngstown State Universities majoring in Business Administration. He is active in the Warren Community, serving on the Board of Directors of the St. Joseph Hospital Development Foundation, the Ronald McDonald House, Kent State University, Trumbull Advisory Board and is a member of the Warren Rotary. He is a past President of the Trumbull Division of the Builders Association and he is a member of the Builders Association of Eastern Ohio and Western Pennsylvania. He is also a member of Leadership Mahoning Valley, graduating in the Class of 1990.
Mr. John Reed, P.E.,
Consulting Engineer,
is an engineering estimator who retired from our company in but remains as a consultant. John graduated from Penn State University in 1958 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering and from Youngstown State University in 1980 with a Master's degree in Business Administration. Mr. Reed worked for several general contractors prior to going to work for LTV (Republic Steel) in 1969 where he was an environmental engineer responsible for the district's wastewater pollution control program. Mr. Reed came to work for the company in 1985 as a project manager and estimator. John has served as past President of the Trumbull Division of the Builders Association of Eastern Ohio and Western Pennsylvania.
Mr. Craig Fauvie, P.E.,
Vice President of Construction,
is a graduate of Youngstown State University with a Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Civil Engineering. Craig joined the firm in 1996 and is a project manager/estimator. Craig holds a current Healthcare Construction Certificate from ASHE. He is certified through the Army Corps of Engineers as a Quality Control Manager. He is a member and past President of Trumbull Division of the Builders Association of Eastern Ohio and Western Pennsylvania. Craig is also a member of the Mahoning & Trumbull County Joint Apprenticeship Committee and the Bricklayers Local 43 Pension Fund Committee.
Mr. William Butch,
Project Manager/Estimator,
is a 1970 graduate of Youngstown College of Business and Professional Drafting. Bill started with our company in 2003 as an Estimator/Project Manager. Prior to coming to work for Jack Gibson Construction Company he was employed by DeBartolo Properties Management, Inc. as an estimator. Prior to that, he was an estimator/project manager for DeSalvo Construction. Bill holds a Healthcare Construction Certificate from ASHE, which he attended classes in 2004. He is a member of Trumbull Division of the Builders Association of Eastern Ohio and Western Pennsylvania and the Board of Trustees for the Mahoning & Trumbull County Building Trades Insurance Fund.
Mr. Howard Agueda,
Project Manager/Estimator,
joined our firm in 2004. He is a graduate of Youngstown State University with an Associate of Applied Science degree in Engineering and Drafting and Technology. Prior to joining Jack Gibson Construction, Howard worked with Hammond Construction. His past work experience includes Senior Project Manager from 2000 to 2003 with AMEC Construction Management; VP of Construction Management 1999-2000 with Richard L. Bowen & Associates; Senior Estimate/Project Manager 1995 – 1999 with Donley’s, Inc.; and Assistant VP Construction Operations for Adolph Johnson & Son Co. from 1993 to 1995. Howard holds a current Healthcare Construction Certificate from ASHE. He is a member and current President of Trumbull Division of the Builders Association of Eastern Ohio and Western Pennsylvania.
Mrs. Marilyn Hughes,
Corporate Secretary/Treasurer and Office Manager,
She joined the company in 1987. In addition to attending Akron University, Marilyn has participated in numerous seminars relating to Workers’ Compensation and Human Resource issues. She handles the liability insurance, workers' compensation, trade union reports, project administration and the day-to-day running of the office. She is a member of Trumbull Division of the Builders Association of Eastern Ohio and Western Pennsylvania
Ms. Cherry Wilson,
Safety Director,
joined the company in 1986. She is an active member and past President of the National Safety Council Northern Ohio Chapter Board of Directors. She has been a member of the American Society of Safety Engineers since 1997 and is a member of the Mahoning Valley Safety Council. She has attended OSHA seminars and numerous training seminars offered through the Builders Association and AGC. She is responsible for maintaining our safety program and all training requirements. She conducts on site safety meetings and safety inspections of our job sites.

joined our company in 1988 as a Project Administrator.
Mrs. Lisa Spadaford,
Project Administrator,
joined our company in 2004 to assist our project managers and estimating department.
Mrs. Denise Kover,
Controller,
joined the company in 1999 as Assistant Controller and was promoted to Controller in 2003. She received her BS in Business at Youngstown State University.
Mrs. Sharon Morgan,
Accounting,
Joined our staff in 2006.
